Using Personalized Videos to Boost Connection with Members

This week on the podcast, I revisited an interview that happened a while back with Oli Bridge from Bonjoro. Bonjoro is a tool that lets you easily create quick videos to shoot off to a prospect, member, donor, key sponsor, etc.

I love the impact of using video with my customers. The main way that I use it currently is in my Member Experience Makeover Program. When this program is NOT delivered live, I use video check-ins to see where participants are in the process of working through the program and they can respond by sending me a quick video (or audio, or email) in return. 

The most awesome thing about this approach is that it really helps create a personal connection, even though I’ve never met most of the people who go through the program. I’ve noticed a big boost in engagement and completion rates.
