Flexibility. Being nimble. Trying new approaches.
Sounds like what a lot of us have been doing for the past year, doesn’t it?
This week’s podcast guest was Kevin Sutton, the National Office Administrator for the Wilderness Education Association. For WEA, the fact that people couldn’t get together to participate in certification programs had an undeniable impact on one of the association’s primary functions.
During our conversation, Kevin talked about how important it had been to be flexible and adaptive – not just for his industry, or in running the WEA’s membership program, but also as a way of being in life – because that’s how we grow as people.
I really liked that perspective. It was a nice reminder to be like a healthy tree branch that can bend a bit when the wind blows vs. an old brittle branch that breaks off and falls to the ground.

Could Your Wild Apricot Site Use a Do-Over?
If you’ve looked into updating your Wild Apricot theme, you’ve probably noticed what a mess it can create – it’s often enough of a hassle that organizations are scared away from making the switch!
The good news is that it does NOT have to be scary…you can swap that old, outdated, ugly site for one that is beautiful, modern, decluttered, and easy to use on any sized device: desktop, tablet, and mobile!
Just check out some of these before-and-after shots of recent makeovers. (All of these examples were existing Wild Apricot sites that were updated/enhanced.)
